Jayneen Sanders is the author and publisher of many amazing books on how to empower kids to be safe- from abuse! Her impressive collection of children’s books has helped countless parents learn how to talk to their kids about topics that they feel might be scary. The beauty of her work is that it takes the fear out of it. And it gives parents the language, or rather- the tools, to have these important conversations.

In this episode we cover:

  • How kids learn about body safety
  • How parents can put their fears aside and dive into teaching their kids
  • How to help our kids become more assertive when needed
  • Why and how gender stereotypes need to be broken down
  • Why teaching/educating the adults in our kids lives is just as important

We talked about how Jayneed started her publishing company and all the resources it now offers (in many languages!!!).
